National registry of in-hospital cardiac arrests
This is a national registry of in-hospital cardiac arrests in Argentina that, through a prospective and multicenter study, analyzes the demographic characteristics, therapeutic management and survival of patients .
We sought to analyze whether both the type of financing of the center where they occur (public vs. private management) and patient characteristics (fragility or comorbidities) are associated with worse results in terms of mortality and neurological outcomes.
The ultimate goal of the project is to promote improvements in care and optimize the prognosis of those who suffer in-hospital cardiac arrest in the country.
